DIN 6334 Hexagonal Coupling Nuts, also known as extension nuts, are elongated fully threaded hex nuts commonly used to join two externally threaded fasteners, such as threaded rods. These nuts have a height equal to three times the major diameter of the thread. Available in sizes ranging from M5 to M30, they come in A2 and marine-grade A4 stainless steel.
