Ruspert Hex Flanged Head Chipboard Screws are high quality fasteners designed for rugged, reliable performance. This particular particleboard screw has a special treatment on the head, thickened and sloped under the flange head. These screws are coated with an advanced protective Ruspert coating which consists of three layers: a metallic zinc layer, a special chemical conversion coating and a rust-resistant baked-on ceramic surface coating. This coating provides excellent corrosion resistance, making the screws suitable for use in highly corrosive environments. These screws are self-drilling, which means they drill their own holes as they are screwed into the material, simplifying the installation process.
