1. Choose the metal plate:

Choose the metal plate of the desired thickness and material. Common materials include steel, aluminum, and brass.

2. Mark the Washer Size:

Use a compass or a washer template to mark the outside and inside diameters on the metal sheet.

3. Cut the Outside Diameter:

Use a hole saw or punch to cut the outside diameter of the washer. Make sure the hole saw size matches the outside diameter.

4. Drilling the inner hole:

Drill a pilot hole in the center of the marked inner circle. Then use a drill or punch to make the inner hole. The size of the drill should match the inner diameter of the washer.

5. Deburring:

Use a metal file or deburring tool to grind the rough edges of the inner and outer diameters.

6. Final treatment:

Inspect the washer for sharp edges or defects. Polish the remaining rough parts to ensure that the washer is safe and usable.

1. Material preparation

Composite washers are made of a variety of materials, mostly metal and synthetic rubber. Carbon black, plasticizers and other fillers are also added during the production process. We mix rubber with carbon black, plasticizers and other additives to form a homogeneous mixture to obtain the raw materials for the production of washers.

2. Molding

The mixed raw materials are extruded into sheets or strips of the desired shape through an extruder and placed in a mold, where they are formed into the shape of washer by heating and pressurizing.

3. Vulcanization

The molded washer is vulcanized at high temperature to give it excellent elasticity and weather resistance. The vulcanization process is usually carried out in a vulcanizer, where the molecular chains in the EPDM rubber are cross-linked by heating and pressurizing.

4. Post-processing

The washer may have some burrs after vulcanization, and deburring is required to ensure that the edges of the washer are smooth.

5. Assembly

Combine metal and rubber parts into a whole.
